LAB:D is the collaborative form of Lyndon Barrois Jr. and Addoley Dzegede. Their interdisciplinary practice pulls from the condition of their intimate relationship, considering the cultural contexts of a given location, through diverse material and formal approaches. Using humor and juxtaposition as consistent strategies, they position objects in relation to memory, social behavior, and cultural history. Resulting projects are meant to be physical projections of meandering, yet critical conversations.
